How can I save on storage containers?

Save plastic yogurt cups, take-out Chinese food soup containers, old plastic ice cream tubs, etc. and use them instead of purchasing expensive containers from the store. These containers work perfectly well in the freezer, fridge and basically anywhere you would use a storage container.
